Band of Brothers hosted Ed Bock, Executive Director of the South Willamette Valley Honor Flight, honoring our veterans for their service & sacrifice. They offer Honor Flights to eligible veterans living in Lane, Lincoln, Linn & Benton Counties. To date, the Honor Flight has made 18 Honor Flights with 814 veterans. They have sent 49 veterans to Washington DC to experience their memorials in 2022, including Florence Elks own
Sylvestor, Gary Vawter, Chuck Pennington & his wife Terri.
Pictured above are some of the many veterans that have been on the Honor Flight. Veterans who served ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, between the beginning of World War II and the end of the Vietnam War (12/7/41 to 5/7/75) are encouraged to sign up for the flight.
For more information, contact Florence Elks Jerry Hernandez or South Willamette Valley Honor Flight Executive Director Ed Bock @541-979-3485.
