1.Make a folder on your Desktop and
name it AVG
2.Go to one of these sites and download AVG FREE to the folder you made
3. Open the folder and click on AVG
GO SLOW
4. Make sure you uncheck the Box that asks if you want a AVG toolbar
4b.Also tell it not to auto SCAN
(It will warn you not to turn it off but you want to scan when you want to
scan not while your working)
If you miss this option you can open AVG and click tools and turn it off
there.
5. After you done installing it. It will tell you you can't update it till
you RESTART
SO RESTART
6. When your computer restarts Open AVG and Click on
UPDATE NOW
7.You Can make it work better if you Click on
Components
Update Manager
And change the time To sometime when you know you will be on line. |
